Nationwide protests against Babri Masjid's demolition

Ameer-e-Jamaat Senator Qazi Hussain Ahmad toured Sudan and other African countries.
Nationwide protests were held against the demolition of the Babri Mosque by extremist Hindus in India, and its reconstruction was demanded.
The Pakistan Islamic Front was established as an electoral platform on 24 May.
Jamaat formed the Islamic Front in the light of recommendations made by a convention of 500 distinguished religious scholars from across the country.
From 15 to 28 February, Ameer-e-Jamaat Senator Qazi Hussain Ahmad visited Kabul and met Afghan leaders including Burhanuddin Rabbani, Ahmad Shah Massoud, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and Abdul Rab Rasul Sayyaf.
Qazi Hussain Ahmad also visited Sudan, Abu Dhabi, Britain, Bosnia, Saudi Arabia and several other countries.
In September, a nationwide Day of Protest against inflation was observed at the appeal of the Ameer-e-Jamaat.
The ambassadors of the United States, Britain, France and Iran, along with foreign secretaries, visited Mansurah.
