Million Marches held in large cities.

  • A Day of Protest against American aggression was observed on 3 January.
  • Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed across the country on 5 February, with public meetings, processions and rallies.
  • Million Marches were held in Karachi, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Hyderabad and Muzaffarabad, with hundreds of thousands of people participating.
  • Three-day gatherings of members were held in Sindh and the Frontier Province.
  • Members of the National Assembly belonging to the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal held a protest march in Rawalpindi on 28 June.
  • An All-Parties Conference was held under the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal on 2 July.
  • A major public gathering was held at Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi, on 14 August.
  • The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami visited Iran, Morocco, Qatar, Sudan, Lebanon, Beirut, Türkiye, Norway, the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. He attended international conferences, delivered addresses and met global leaders.
  • Invitations were also received to attend public gatherings in Belgium and the Netherlands, but the governments of both countries refused to issue visas.
  • An introductory ceremony for Maulana Syed Abul A‘la Maududi’s book Tafhim al-Ahadith was held on 12 October.
  • The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal and the opposition held a protest sit-in outside the Assembly Secretariat on 31 October.
  • An Iftar dinner was held on 4 November in honour of ambassadors, political leaders and government officials.
  • A two-day international conference marking the birth centenary of Maulana Syed Abul A‘la Maududi was held on 6 and 7 December.
  • On 8 December, the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami hosted a dinner in honour of the international conference participants, attended by delegates from different Muslim countries.
  • From 18 to 20 December, the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal launched a protest caravan from Muzaffargarh, holding protest gatherings in different districts of Punjab.
  • An agreement on the Legal Framework Order was reached between the government and the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal on 24 December.
