Shan-e-Mustafa ﷺ Movement
- Nationwide protests, large women’s gatherings and demonstrations were held against the Women’s Protection Bill passed by the Musharraf government, which Jamaat described as an attempt to promote immodesty, obscenity and moral disorder.
- Nationwide Days of Protest were observed on 15 January and 3 February against the American attack in Bajaur Agency.
- Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed on 5 February.
- A Convention for the Protection of the Honour of the Prophet ﷺ was held in Islamabad on 11 February.
- Large rallies and public gatherings were held across the country for the protection of the honour of the Prophet ﷺ.
- The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal held a Shan-e-Mustafa ﷺ Rally in Multan on 22 March.
- A three-day public gathering of Jamaat-e-Islami Frontier Province was held in Peshawar from 24 to 26 March, attended by hundreds of thousands of people.
- A gathering of Hamd, Naat and Qur’an recitation was held at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore, on 22 April.
- A reception was held on 23 May in honour of seven Kashmiri Mujahideen released from Indian prisons.
- An All-Parties Peace Conference was held in Karachi on 24 June.
- A provincial public gathering was held in Balochistan on 29 and 30 July.
- On 14 August, a flag-hoisting ceremony was held at Mansurah, the Punjab provincial offices were inaugurated, and the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal held a public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan.
- Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal public gatherings were held in Karachi on 27 August and Rawalpindi on 6 September.
- An Iftar dinner was hosted in Islamabad on 1 October in honour of ambassadors, politicians and intellectuals.
- A nationwide Day of Protest and demonstrations were held against the American attack in Bajaur Agency.
- During November, public gatherings and road caravans were organised in major cities against the Women’s Protection Bill.
