Nationwide Day of Protest against Military Rule
- A Black Day was observed on 1 January against government policies.
- On the appeal of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal, a nationwide Day of Protest was observed on 28 January against a uniformed President.
- From 18 to 20 March, a Caravan of Democracy travelled from Sukkur to Karachi in Sindh, followed by a Million March in Karachi.
- From 22 to 23 March, a Caravan of Democracy travelled from Rawalpindi to Lahore in Punjab, followed by a Million March in Lahore.
- A major public gathering was held in Quetta on 25 March.
- A Caravan of Democracy travelled from Tarnol to Peshawar on 28 March, followed by a Million March in Peshawar.
- A nationwide strike was held on 2 April against government policies.
- A Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Caravan of Democracy travelled from Lahore to Sahiwal on 11 May.
- A protest convention was held in Islamabad on 22 May against the desecration of the Holy Qur’an by American soldiers and against American policies.
- A nationwide Day of Protest against American soldiers was observed on 27 May.
- Days of Protest against MQM terrorism were observed in Karachi on 10 June and 22 July.
- A Day of Protest was observed on 2 September over the Foreign Minister’s meetings concerning Israel.
- A National Leaders Conference was held in Islamabad on the 4th.
- A nationwide Day of Protest was observed on 9 September against Israel, inflation, unemployment and government policies.
- On the appeal of the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, a nationwide Day of Repentance was observed on 28 October.
