A Black Day was observed on 1 January against government policies.
On the appeal of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal, a nationwide Day of Protest was observed on 28 January against a uniformed President.
From 18 to 20 March, a Caravan of Democracy travelled from Sukkur to Karachi in Sindh, followed by a Million March in Karachi.
From 22 to 23 March, a Caravan of Democracy travelled from Rawalpindi to Lahore in Punjab, followed by a Million March in Lahore.
A major public gathering was held in Quetta on 25 March.
