Objectives Resolution and Islamic economics

The Constituent Assembly was compelled to adopt the Objectives Resolution.
Jamaat opposed Pakistan’s alignment with imperialist blocs and the Commonwealth. It proposed the formation of an Islamic bloc. It opposed capitalism and feudalism. It demanded the implementation of an Islamic economic system.
An All-Pakistan gathering was held in Lahore.
Maulana Saaduddin, Maulana Ghulam Nabi Qasmi and Syed Ali Geelani designated as leadership in Kashmir.
