Ijtima-e-Aam at Minar-e-Pakistan

Jamaat continued its campaign against electricity tariffs and IPP agreements through nationwide protests on 17 and 31 January.
On 15 and 16 February, Jamaat hosted the international conference “A Voice of the Voiceless: Echo of Palestine” in Islamabad.
On 26 February, Dr Zakir Naik visited Mansurah, met Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman and received a briefing on Jamaat’s religious, educational and welfare activities.
In April, Jamaat expanded its Palestine campaign through nationwide demonstrations, boycott calls and a major Palestine Solidarity March in Islamabad. A nationwide shutter-down strike was observed on 26 April in solidarity with Gaza. During a six-week ceasefire, Alkhidmat expanded its humanitarian operations inside the Gaza Strip.
Bano Qabil expanded beyond Karachi, with aptitude tests and training programmes launched in Mohmand, Gujrat, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and other cities.
Following Indian military action and Pakistan’s response in May, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman praised the defence forces of the country. He also visited the forward areas at Line of Control.
The Youth Digital Summit was held at Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad, in June, with participation by prominent digital-media professionals.
Jamaat launched a membership campaign.
In August, Hafiz Naeem visited Tehran, Iran and met with dignitaries including Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Kamal Kharazi.
In September, Hafiz Naeem attended the 71st Annual General Assembly of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, or PAS, as a guest of honour. He addressed the Israeli assault on Gaza and wider challenges confronting the Muslim Ummah.
Despite limited funding and restricted authority, Jamaat-led town administrations in Karachi expanded local development work. Projects included roads, schools, dispensaries, parks, sports complexes, open-air gyms and the rehabilitation of neighbourhood public spaces.
Jamaat held a three-day Ijtima-e-Aam at Iqbal Park and Minar-e-Pakistan under the theme Badal Do Nizam. Hundreds of thousands of workers and supporters attended, along with more than 150 delegates representing 45 countries.
In December, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman rejected the Punjab Local Government Act 2025 as unconstitutional, anti-democratic and insufficiently devolved.
