Haq Do Tehreek in Karachi and Gwadar
- Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi intensified its campaign for urban rights and empowered local government, organising major demonstrations and a rally from Quaidabad to Governor House.
- Ameer-e-Jamaat Siraj-ul-Haq strongly criticised the PTI government over rising inflation, poverty and unemployment.
- On Eid, Alkhidmat organised a welfare programme in Peshawar for orphans, street children and patients with thalassaemia, with Siraj-ul-Haq attending as chief guest.
- In May, Jamaat organised a major Palestine Solidarity March in Karachi against the Israeli bombardment of Gaza and violations at Masjid al-Aqsa.
- The Gwadar Ko Haq Do Tehreek gained national prominence over illegal trawling, restrictions on border trade and unnecessary checkpoints. Prime Minister publicly assured action on the movement’s demands. Balochistan Government accepted the protesters’ demands in writing.
- In the first phase of the KP local-government elections, Jamaat won the chairmanship of Daraban Tehsil in Dera Ismail Khan.
