  • A population welfare seminar was held at Mansurah.
  • Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed nationwide through Kashmir conferences, rallies, public meetings and processions.
  • The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami was held on 9 April.
  • A memorial reference was held in memory of Dr Waseem Akhtar.
  • A public march was held in Lahore.
  • Following the martyrdom of Dr Mohamed Morsi, funeral prayers in absentia and protest demonstrations were held across the country.
  • A budget seminar chaired by the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami was held in Islamabad on 19 June.
  • A JI Farmers’ Convention was held in Rawalpindi.
  • On 5 August, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the abolition of Kashmir’s special status and the removal of Articles 370 and 35A.
  • “Save Kashmir” rallies were held across the country against India’s action of 5 August.
  • Under Alkhidmat Foundation, relief camps were established across the country to protect people from the coronavirus pandemic. Sanitiser was sprayed in mosques, madrasas, gurdwaras, churches and temples, while masks and protective clothing were distributed on a large scale to doctors and paramedical staff.
  • Central, provincial and district gatherings continued online, with leaders delivering online addresses.
  • Alkhidmat Dastarkhwan was inaugurated at Mansurah to provide affordable meals to workers, low-income families and deserving people.
