Computer Department Established

A day of solidarity with the Palestinian Muslims was observed.
The Computer Department was established.
The Ameer-e-Jamaat led the Caravan-e-Da‘wat-o-Mohabbat.
A total of 225 workers accompanied the caravan throughout its journey.
The caravan addressed approximately 2.5 million people and travelled 6,753 kilometres.
The Islami Jamhoori Ittehad was formed. Jamaat fielded 26 candidates for National Assembly seats, eight of whom were elected. Amirah Ehsan became a Member of the National Assembly.
Following the Ojhri Camp disaster, Rs1.2 million was collected and distributed.
A memorandum signed by 2,000 poets, writers and journalists was presented to the Soviet Embassy in protest against bomb explosions.
