About Us

Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan is an Islamic, democratic and constitutional movement working for Iqamat-e-Deen, public welfare, accountable governance and the moral and social renewal of society.

Founded in 1941 by Maulana Syed Abul A‘la Maududi, Jamaat seeks to develop individuals of faith and character, organise society for justice and pursue peaceful reform through da‘wah, tarbiyah, public service and democratic struggle.
