Developer Brief

Build the Knowledge section around a central searchable repository with separate content types for Research Institutions, Madaris/Educational Institutions, Books & Articles, Thought Leadership, Research Reports, Policy Papers and Videos. Rabita-ul-Madaris should have its own institutional profile and should be relationally linked to the madrasa profiles. Each madrasa record should support name, location, introduction, academic areas, programmes, scholars, publications, media, contact information and related resources. The same resource should be capable of appearing under an institution, author, subject or language without duplicate uploads.

Universal search should index titles, authors, institutions, metadata, descriptions, extracted PDF text and video transcripts. Support filters for resource type, subject, author/scholar, language, institution and year, together with multilingual relationships so an Urdu original can have an English summary, English translation, Arabic summary or Arabic translation under the same record. The CMS should support bulk import, PDF and cover upload, drafts/review/publishing, featured resources, related-content tagging and cross-linking with Campaigns, Ummah Desk and other website sections.

Designer Brief

Design Knowledge & Resources as a modern intellectual and educational ecosystem, not a file repository. The visual journey should be:

Hero + Search → Research Institutions → Islamic Education & Madaris → Resource Library → Thought Leadership → Research → Policy → Videos → Knowledge-to-Action CTA.

Keep research institutions and madaris visually distinct: research cards should feel contemporary and institutional, while the Islamic Education & Madaris section can have a warmer scholarly character without becoming overly decorative or traditional. Give Rabita-ul-Madaris one prominent feature card, followed by a slider of major madrasas.

Use different visual treatments for books, articles, reports, policy documents and videos, while maintaining one coherent design system. Show only curated content on the landing page, with clear Explore / View All CTAs to scalable archive pages. Keep universal search prominent and ensure full Urdu RTL, English and Arabic responsiveness.
