Vision and Values
Jamaat-e-Islami’s vision and values are rooted in the belief that life, society, politics, and governance must be guided by faith, justice, service, and accountability before Allah. The movement does not view public work as a pursuit of power alone, but as a responsibility to reform individual and collective life according to moral and Islamic principles.
Since its founding in 1941, Jamaat-e-Islami has presented itself as a disciplined ideological and reformist movement. Its struggle is shaped by the Qur’an, the Sunnah, the concept of accountability, and the belief that true leadership must serve people with honesty, humility, and responsibility.
Faith as the Foundation
Tawhid and Moral Responsibility
The foundation of Jamaat-e-Islami’s values is the belief in the sovereignty of Allah. This means that no individual, group, institution, or ideology stands above Divine guidance.
